Valentino has taken bohemian extravagance to a mind blowing level. Inspired by Maria Callas and the Roman Opera, creative directors Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pierpaolo Piccioli produced a collection that was beautiful, grand, and romantic - but honestly, did we expect anything less? Rich fabrics and exquisite craftsmanship was obvious in the folkloric motifs, lavish embroidery, and elaborate lace work. Colors popped against a black palette, embroidered jackets were worn over dresses, and gowns were accessorized with astrological jewelry and scarab adorned flat sandals. What is not to love here?!
